Pick Your Own admission is £2 per person (under 2 years go free!). Held in our PYO field, 1/4 mile from the Farm Displays & Pumpkin Shop. Join us in The Pumpkin Patch and pick your own pumpkin straight from our East Yorkshire pumpkin field where it was grown! With over 45 varieties of Pumpkins, Gourds and Squashes available, you’ll be spoilt for choice! Pick Your Own Pumpkin 2025 is sure to be our biggest and best yet with lots more to see and do! Sorry no pets.

FOOD & DRINK
Hot food & Pizzas – Take a break from your adventure in the patch and grab a bite to eat from The Two Tossers Neapolitan-Style Pizzas. Feeling adventurous? Why not have a taste of one of their pumpkin-specials created using pumpkins grown right here at The Pumpkin Patch. – Don’t knock it ’til you’ve tried it!
Refreshments – Warm up with a brew from Mimi’s Horsebox or really get into the Autumn spirit with a Pumpkin Spiced Latte. Room for something sweet? Indulge in a rich chocolatey brownie from Brownielicious.

Golden Pumpkin – Will you be lucky enough to find The Golden Pumpkin? Hidden once at each Pick Your Own Pumpkin event, the lucky finder will take home the exclusive prize of the day!
Pumpkin treasure hunt – Some strange new pumpkins have been spotted growing in our patch! Find the letters and spell out the mystery word for your reward sticker on exit!
Pumpkin carving – Let us take care of the mess and carve your pumpkin right here with us at The Pumpkin Patch. £2.50 – Includes your own mini carving kit to take home! (Your choice of pumpkin is purchased separately)
Pumpkin games – Noughts and Squashes anyone? How about a game of pumpkin draughts? Have a go at one of our many pumpkin-themed games!
Meet Peter Pumpkin – Be sure to say hello to Peter Pumpkin! Grab a friendly photo or a high five from the cheekiest pumpkin in the patch!

Pumpkin house – Capture a spectacular Autumn moment and step inside the magical ‘Pumpkin House’. The first of its kind in Yorkshire!

The Royal Golden Guernsey Goats – Daisy, Strawberry and their babies love to say hello to our PYO visitors!

PYO sunflowers – Grab your snips and take some sunshine home with you! PYO sunflowers available at each of our PYO Pumpkin Events (please bring your own secateurs if possible).

Sturdy footwear is a must and, on muddy days, wellies are preferable. Some pumpkin stalks are slightly prickly and you may benefit from wearing gloves while pumpkin picking.
At times, the pumpkin field can get quite muddy and you may struggle with your pram. Therefore, we leave it to visitors’ discretion as to whether you find the conditions suitable for your pram. However, all areas of The Pumpkin Patch are wide enough for prams to get through. The farm displays and pumpkin shop are all on concrete and are easily traversed with prams. Please call The Pumpkin Patch on 07890 346717 for mor information on wheelchair accessibility at the Pick Your Own Pumpkin field and we will do our very best to help.
We can now accept all major credit and debit cards. We can accept chip & pin, contactless Apple & Android payment methods as well as cash.
Sorry but no dogs (or other animals) are permitted at the Pick Your Own Pumpkin field or inside the farm displays & pumpkin shop. Assistance dogs are exempt.
All of our car parking is FREE. We have a large grass car park at the Pick Your Own Pumpkin field and a large hard standing car park at the farm area. There is a strict 5mph speed limit in both areas. Disabled bays are available in the Pumpkin Field, please ask on arrival and you will be directed. Dependent on conditions, the car park at the Pick Your Own field may be unsuitable for large vehicles such as motorhomes & minibuses. Vehicles are parked entirely at the owners risk.

Pick Your Own Pumpkin Events are subject to weather conditions and in the event of extreme adverse conditions the PYO field may be closed. The Farm Displays & Pumpkin Shop remain open despite the weather.
